Man! I’m so bummed this is over! They’re a lot of work but I love participating in events and craft fairs. The stress and anxiety leading up to the event seems to melt away once I get to the location, set up my table, and arrange all of the Avon items I have on hand to sell. This is the perfect time of year too...so even if people aren’t buying makeup or skin care (or ANYTHING! and are just there to drink and socialize lol) I have a blast talking to people and meeting new customers and other vendors.
This particular event was at Nite Games in the Chicago suburb of Oak Forest, IL...about a half hour outside of city limits. I kind of waited until the last minute to find craft fairs and other events to participate in this year, only because I was so busy with my regular day job and family. And time seems to FLY BY. I always think I have more time than I do. So next year I’ll have to be one of those I-get-ready-for-Christmas-in-September people to get the best spots. 💜
